I am painting my shed which is breeze block with loads of big holes

WHilst the roller is OK it is not filling in the gaps as much as I would li,e

I see you can buy amsoanry brushes which tend to be quite big - will these make my job easier?

What is the diff between the above 2? Obviously they look very different - which would be better for what I am doing? First one looks quite stiff.

The first one looks more like a wallpaper brush to me!

I'd go for the 2nd one - being softer-bristled, you'd get less splashing/spraying, and it would be easier to work the paint into crevices, indentations, etc.

I use one identical to that when masonry painting - but it is 40 years old (inherited it with all the other contents of my stepfather's toolshed!)
