Can anybody in the know point me in the right direction please, we are having a log cabin/summerhouse built in the garden this month to use as a sensory/therapy room for our little boy who is severely disabled, it will house a hot tub and other things, the cabin is made from northern Europe spruce whitewood and I want to treat/paint it, the inside would need to be clear to keep the look of the cabin and also be good for the amount of moisture from the hot tub, I think the outside possible clear again but don't mind a colour, I just want to get it right with the right stuff really.

I assume i'd need to paint the exterior every few years? interior not so often?

Any help and advice is much appreciated, any brands or types of paint/treatment etc to get the best out the cabin.
