Painting bathroom ceiling

Have done a search and am a little confused about the best paint for a bathroom ceiling.
I understand I've to do an initial mist coat with emulsion. For the top coat some people say use oil based eggshell, some water based eggshell, some a matt oil based paint (surely thats oil based eggshell?), and some say a specific bathroom paint (isn't that a water based eggshell??) I haven't started to buy the paint yet. Please advise.

You can if you wish go for a specific kitchen and bathroom paint but my choice would always be the water based eggshell.

Would I water the eggshell paint down for the mist coat or use 'normal' emulsion watered down?

Well you can use the eggshell as a mist coat, yet I prefer to mist bare skim with a thinned matt first.
