Painting soil pipe

Hello all, just like to run something by you , i am thinking of spraying my black plastic soil stack with plasticote aerosol , do you think this idea is ok.
I have read various things regarding using weathersheild paint or gloss .
But i thought spraying might be easier .

What colour do you want it to be?

If you want low maintenance in the future then I'd just replace the stack - it's very easy with plastic..

The colour is black ( faded at the moment) yes i could replace the stack
but i am looking for a simple tart up at this point in time , maybe the next time

Sometimes just polishing it with a rag and some WD40 can get it black and shiny again....

Hi again , i have decieded to use dulux weather shield for this job , can you tell me what is best for washing down / cleaning the stack before application . cheers howy
