Redo Bathroom Coving

HI. About 3 years ago had the bathroom "done" incl decorating. Paint on coving has peeled badly and I want to redo it (myself this time).
Any advice on paint to use / prep required / how not to dribble paint down the wall / etc would be most welcome.
