Small bathroom ceiling advice

Hi, have scraped off some woodchip paper off the ceiling and in doing so the paintwork in parts has also come off, to make good will i need to scrape the rest of the paint off or just the flaking parts and then sand, as i will be painting the ceiling after. Many thnx in advance.

If it is only a small ceiling it is probably easier to sand it all back to smooth plaster. As it's a bathroom, make sure you seal the plaster well with something like Zinsser Gardz and then use eggshell rather than emulsion paint, to minimise condensation damage.
