What's the best way of stripping paint from a wooden door

I'd like to strip my front door. It has varnish and black gloss painted on. Should I go the Nitromors way or would you recommend stripping with a torch and scraper

Agree with Robbie. Even an electric stripper if you don't fancy gas. ( when I first used paint stripper in the mid 70's one coat then did an awful lot of work).
 
i dont think nitromors is as good as it used to be, heatgun all the way

Modern nitromors is absolutely terrible,if you go the paint stripper route I would recommend something much stronger. Last one I used was called starchem synstrip which was really good but that was on metal so would be best to check if its ok to use on wood.
