Shower pump keeps tripping

Hi

I have a small Salamander shower pump that is wired up to the power feed that fed the old electric shower that was removed and replaced with a pump and a mixer.

The RCD is tripping by the fuse box. I can switch it back to on but as soon as I turn the mixer to make the pump kick in, it trips again. Has the pump had it or could it be something else?

It could be a problem with the pump, or it could be a wiring issue. Does the pump actually get going before it trips, or does it trip before the pump starts to whirr? If the former it's more likely the pump, if the latter more likely something else.
