Wanted---Combined Light switch and socket ???

Sponsored Links
For what purpose would this combination serve.
Power sockets and lighting circuits are generally rated at different currents, therefore two different circuits, unless the socket circuit is down-fused to accommodate the light.
If it were just a single socket with a single plate switch (can be 1-3 gang)
Then there are dual flush back boxes that will allow for this.

Go on e-bay, type in cbe socket.

Have a look.

Then type in cbe switch.

You will find the bits required to make up the unit you want.

Don't see why it's a problem that it's two circuits. As long as it IS two circuits, then two circuits can share the same faceplate, as long as it's wired correctly.

Indeed!

Remember the old square Nettle plates with a Cooker switch, a double socket and an immersion switch on?

3 separate circuits!

I didnt make it very clear this is for my house not a caravan, the caravan link was the only site i could find with a similar product as an example

They would be separate lighting and ring main circuits

Basically its for my bedroom
1x switch main light
1x switch bed side light
1x 240v socket

The 'caravan' ones would work, but I appreciate you want a particular style to match your other sockets.

No shame in using ordinary separate switches and sockets...
