Hi,

I need to replace my thermostat, and thought it would be easy - which I think it still might be if I knew how to read diagrams.

//www.diynot.com/network/Loki7430/albums/

The wiring is red (live), yellow (switch live), blue (neutral) and unsleeved (earth - though helpfully the previous guys sleeved it in red too).

Now where do they go!! I just want to be sure I don't accidently put the wrong one somewhere. The thermostat is numbered to should be quite easy when I understand this.

Many thanks for your help.....

Red to 1, yellow to 3, neutral to 2. Earth to LHS terminal marked with the striped downward arrow earth sign. This assumes that the wires you describe are in fact connected to live, switched wire and neutral at the other end (at programmer or wiring centre ( If in doubt, with the suply safely isolated, check for continuity).

Superb. Thank you both.

As you suggest I'll double check wiring is hooked up correctly first.
