My first attempt on this great site.
I have purchased a ZANUSSI ZOB31301WK Electric Oven and my electrician has said it can be plugged into a normal socket even though it says in the product details that it requires hard wiring.
The energy consumption is 0.89kWh.
Can you advise me please as the wiring for new sockets etc has just been done and he has put one in place for the oven
Having gas hob and the oven is a single oven with fan.

It must be at least 890W.

Is there a plate? Usually somewhere around the door area.

On this site it says the grill is 1700kW so who knows?.

Quick toast.

Manufacturers instruction indicate that it can be installed via a 13A plug or 13A fused connection. The combined load is 2480 watts, so with diversity I suppose it would be okay, even though BS7671 would recommend not using a plug.

Yes, I know.

I was be sarcastic.

Some of the other details on the specifications are clearly wrong thus making the rest unreliable.
