In fairness, I suppose two days away from up north must seem like paradise no matter where you go.

Tattershall Park, Lincolnshire.

Spent a fantastic 10 days there recently and have booked to go back next summer for another 2 weeks.
Didn't do much on the site, (swimmimg mainly), but went to local hostelries and visited a number of airfields in Lincolnshire.
If you are into planes, especially Second World War ones then this is the area to be in. Lots of other sites to choose from but would definitely recommend the above.

Right next to Bala lake. Just pitch away from the Welsh!

There, fixed that mistake for you.

A lovely part of the world with stunning views, great roads and lovely walks, spoilt only by the Welsh :p ;)

nothing wrong with the welsh, as long as you don't turn your back on them or bend over

There's a new leisure centre built on the banks of Bala lake. Not the usual bland monstrosities you see elsewhere in the UK.................it's just two sheep tied to a lamp post.

Right next to Bala lake. Just pitch away from the mozzies!

Crikey we used to go there when we were kids (40+ years ago). Lovely spot, great for swimming and fishing, and the RAF used to use it for helicopter rescue practise.

all the nice places in wales ain't nice in the summer. full of caravans and idiot tourists.
