I'm re-doing my spare toilet downstairs and have bought a sink and toilet which is being delivered soon.

I saw the Bristan Oval mixer tap in Homebase for £145. However, online I got it for £65:

However, upon looking I have seen this for £39:

....

I'm trying to save money but not skimp or do it "on the cheap".

Is it worth paying extra for the Bristan one or should I save myself the £25?

If it's mainly about costs? What you also need factor in to that, is that the elvo mono also comes with a pop up waste, generally costing around £10, where the Bristan eco doesn't.

Aesthetically, the Bristan is far better IMO. The answer to your question is a year from will you be sying to yourself I should have spent the extra money? Take $25 and divide by 12, your looking at an extra $2 per month. All that said, the second option looks very nice, just not as nice.
