Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, there is a baffling number to choose from!

I want to attached 70mm high, 3mm thick aluminium letters to external render. I am getting the lettering made and have been advised that they would usually weld studs to the back of the letters and the wall would be drilled and the studs fixed in with grout.

I could do this but I have ten letters to do so the potential for error is high! I thought I might be able to glue the characters on to the render but I am unsure if this is wise, or what to use if it is possible. The house is newly rendered and the surface is flat with a slight texture but I am unsure of the material.

All advice gratefully received.

Thanks

Tom

We all take this forum very serious and try to be as acurate with our information as possible ;) But having said that we are prone to talk a lot of "bulls droppings" at times ,because we are only Super Human in the end... ;)
