Hi all, I'm new to this forum but read lot's of useful information here and I've just bought a house that needs work so it's really handy having this forum... anyway.

I have an old cast iron bath that I want to get a taps shower mixer for. Problem is the pipe centres are 160mm apart and I just can't find taps with centres of this size apart. So:
Do I get free standing taps/shower mixer? This would leave holes in the bath that would somehow need filling
or
Somehow make the holes bigger in the relevant direction making the centres 150mm apart? (edit: which I believe is a standard size?)

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks, I should have mentioned they need to be wall mounted style as the holes are sort of in the bath not on top
