The C17 is for combi systems.
It's not really designed to. If the combi has low volt switching, definitely not.
Most combis require timers/stats with volt-free contacts. Something like this would be better.

If you look at the timings of mine and Tibbot's post, you will realise that I was unaware of it when typing and replying to the OP's only.
I was suggesting an better alternative to the C27, not the C17.
