Hi, my boiler keeps going all way round to over3 bar, we filled the exp vessel back to 1 bar but still keeps going 3 bar, does this mean the vessel has packed up

After I recharged the vessel, topped the boiler up after a while the pressure dropped to 0. At first the filling loop was passing could this have buggered the PRV

Leave boiler switch off and cold, water on but leave hot taps off, top up to 1 bar and remove filling loop, if the pressure go up, plate heat exchanger has a pinhole leak.

If pressure drop, leak from prv or leak on heating circuits.

The domicompact f24d is a non condesing boiler is that what you mean? these boilers have a twin pass heat exchanger so no plate to have a pinhole in.

Listem mate if the pressure is continuously rising and ur not adding any more water to it yourself then the fill loop or twin pass heat exchanger are passing. Disconnect the fill loop if its still doing it then its the heat exchanger passing. The expansion vessel is not faulty.

The pressure is only rising when heating is on, water is passing thru blow off when pressure reaches2.5 bar ish, it's only rising when the heating is on not he
