easiest way to cap off a 3/4" lead pipe

I am removing an old back boiler but need to cap off the two 3/4" lead pipes as they are still connected to the hot water cylinder. Can anybody tell me the easiest way to do this as I can't find any 3/4" compression joints. It will only be temporary until the hot water cylinder is replaced by a combi boiler.

You can buy leadloc fittings or how are they connected th the cylinder ?
There must be BSP threads there that you can get a fitting for ?
