Hi,

I have a back maxi flow combo WM which is running off a tower stat RF wireless stat and programmer. I want to replace this with my Honeywell chronotherm wireless stat but the wiring is confusing me.

The tower stat is wired:

Black COM
grey NO
Brown and light brown L
blue N

The Honeywell is a Chronotherm RF CM 927and has NLL & ABC connections but I'm not entirely sure what goes to what?

Could anyone assist? The instructions for the tower stat are useless and so I'm keen to get the Honeywell fitted ASAP

1. Which Towerstat do you have?

2. Are any of the terminals linked together on the Towerstat?

3. If not, where do the brown and light brown wires go to from terminal L?

1. Tower stat RF marked model no STTR/F on rear of transmitter

2. No

3. Brown goes to L on boiler. Light brown goes to isolator switch between tower star receiver and consumer box

OK, you wire as follows:

Black to A
Grey to B
Brown and light brown to L (You can use both terminals)
Blue to N

Do not link L to A.
