Glow Worm Ultracom 38cxi Canoe Filter Location

hi, ive been trying to find the location of the canoe filter on this boiler, and having no luck so far. all ive found out it that it is on the left hydro-block of the plate to plate exchanger, but when i research finding it, i cant find any info. checked the manual, website etc. any one have any ideas? id appreciate every reply,

where the flow pipe comes from the main heat exchanger and connects into the hydroblock on the left hand side, if you pull that pipe clear it will be in the block behind it. It should be white, but depending on your system it may have changed colour somewhat ! Can be a pig to get out but if you have a thin enough little finger like myself you can wedge it in and it will come out stuck to your finger with any luck.

For others, the boiler case on this model should not be opened by anyone who is not Gas Safe registered!

thats great thanks, great reply lets hope my little finger works lol.. need to change the plate to plate. but want to check this filter out first as its a common fault with these, i just did'nt know where they were.

Micky won't lend me his little finger so I use a hex screwdriver bit about 40mm long.

I know that you are.

But that does not alter the fact that you should register for the CC so that you can ask gas/combustion questions there!
