Hi

I am hoping to get a bathroom refitted and I have the cold gravity fed from a tank in the loft and the hot comes in via the combi boiler. I am not too worried about the bath because we can already fill that via a mixer tap but I am not sure that we will get good results on the sink with a mixer tap. It could be tricky especially for the kids to get the right temperatue water coming through the taps. Am I better off getting two taps - one hot and one cold? There don't seem to be so many of those sort of two hole sinks around I don't think.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Thats only possible if the dynamic flow rate is adequate.

You can use a pressure reducing valve.

Some find the pressure equalising valves sometimes work but they are expensive.

Thanks for your responses though I think taking the tank out is a little drastic (and the extra tank has proven extremely useful in the past through several water cuts

In the end I went to the BathStore and they sold me a sink with two taps

Cheers
