The main stopcock for the property is on the pavement outside the neighbors. The pipe appears to be 1/2" copper and emerges just inside the front door where there is a the main earth strap. it then runs 15mm copper around 10m along the skirting held only by a couple of clips with a couple of joints, under the stairs to a stopcock by the boiler.
It's a suspended floor and I'm thinking of running a continuous plastic very well insulated to the boiler/stopcock. The alternative is to stick it behind the skirting building the skirting out a little.
Which would be best?
