Ideal Classic RS250 Problems

HI,


First of all hi i'm new to this forum

My ideal classic RS250 is experiencing some problems, the pilot light burns and stays on all the time with no apparent problems when i turn on my heating the burners kick in as they should but with 5-10 seconds the flames appear to lift away from the burners and the boiler cuts out.

Any ideas what this could be?

+1 .... and use it as little as possible until it is rectified as it could have a combustion issue.

Ok thanks for the responses, just one question I do have is do these boilers have mixture screws on the valves for oxygen/gas? Just curious how it works.

Will call a local engineer in the morning.

Just call your man in. He'll be able to put you right.
There is nothing you can do to it yourself.
