Hi I'm getting a new heat only boiler fitted this week, the old one and the pump are 15+ years old, should I have the pump replaced also?

The engineer never mentioned anything about the pump and he is adding another rad onto the system.

Would the old Grundfos be ok or should I ask him to change it.?

I would have had a system boiler installed that has a pump already in it.

Then it's all covered under the boiler warranty.

as DC recommends a system boiler, or change the pump too boiler will only perform as good as the circulation of your system also have you looked at getting your system cleaned ?
