Hi I'm trying to find what size connector to use to replace old knackered stop tap ,the pipe is black alkathene and on the pipe all I can see is 0045 in red numbers ,to look at it looks just slightly larger than 15mm ,plumb centre couldn't help me ,the house was built about 1970 if that helps ....cheers

Was thinking of doing that but after building work is done it needs to be moved by extending as a new concrete floor is going down so I'm screwed a bit at mo

Cheers looks like a good product, will this will fit the alkathene pipe with out having any inserts in the pipe ?

Your pipe will have an insert where the stopcock is, use that one.

But you will have to cut off the olive and cut the pipework to get the insert out.

Should I be able to cut the olive and just use the pipe with the insert in and just push it straight into the new philmac one ?
