Hi. Please could you tell me what it could be. The hot water heats to the maximum despite the temperature control knob position, then the flame switches off and in few (10-15) seconds on again meantime the water cools down. So the water temperature goes up and down at least once a minute.
The central heating is fine, no such probs.
I suspect this might be the Primary Heat Exchanger but no sure. By the way I have replaced 2 thermostats + temperature sensor without any effect though.
I won't replace the H/E myself but I have a chance to get it cheap and call an engineer to do the rest. I just want to be sure I'm spending money to the right thing and that's not something else.
