I have just moved to a new house and need to bleed seceral upstairs radiators - and I think repressurise the system. I know this might have been asked before but I wanted to ask specifically about my system. Aplogies if I should have just done a search.

I have an oil boiler - Bentone Sterling40 ST108PL - what should the system pressure be. Is it the standard 1 bar when cold? Are there any other factors I need to consider.

Many thanks for any help with what is probably a very simple problem!

Set the pressure between 1 and 1.5 bar and all should be well - the pressure will drop again upon bleeding the rads.
Expect a small increase in pressure when the central heating is working.
