Hi guys,

The central heating in this house (and I'm assuming the pipes are the original from the 70s) seems to work well enough, except for a bit of light noise when it first heats up.

I've noticed that the hall radiator is spurred off the living room radiator. Given that it seems to work ok, is it worth taking a fresh feed off the main heating pipes? The radiator feeds are 15mm.

I tend to go with 'if it ain't broke' in situations like this, but I'd appreciate the feedback of more experiendce people. I've got the tools to solder if need be.

If they're piped in parallel and heat up properly, they're fine as they are. 15mm can easily carry enough heat for two rads.

Common scenario - easier than teeing under the floor and coming up again for the other rad
