Shower pipes exposed only because we thought leak was there.
Please could I get advice on following before we cover up:
Is the bluish/greenish colouring of shower pipes something to worry about? If so, should these be replaced?
The hot/cold pipes are buried in the soil - is that OK or should I sheath them (won't be able to sheath all of them, just the exposed bit)?
My builder has suggested using sand to cover pipes and no screed so access is easier in future if needed. Not sure if he will place kingspan as well but imagine he needs to to prevent heat loss. Any other ideas?

1 Vertical hot and cold pipes feeding shower chased into breeze blocks (orange conduit is electric wiring)
2 Floor structure - tiles/fibre glass aqua dec/screed/kingspan foam/soil (the two pipes here are central heating pipes with sheath because part in screed)
3 Hot water pipe elbow where the leak is (pipe is buried in soil)
