Hi all,

I currently have a hot and a cold tap on my bathroom basin. I want to replace these with a single mixer tap.

Today I went about taking the old taps off, but noticed that the basin hole size is too small for the mixer.

I thought all tap hole sizes were the same?

Question is, what do I do now? New sink? Are there smaller mixer taps?

The hole required for a monobloc mixer has to be larger to incorporate the two water tails and the securing horse shoe clamp......Looks like a replacement basin really - which makes the tap central and also does away with the need to plug the remaining tap hole.
