Hi,

I am new here and hoping someone can help.

I am looking to replace my old room Lifestyle dial thermostat with a Horstmann DRT1.

The old unit had for wires Red, Yellow, Blue, Earth, the DRT1 has three connections NO, COM, NC

Can someone please tell me which wire goes where? I have prev read on here that Red=Com & Yellow=NO and to use a block to protect the other wires as they are not req but I want to make sure before I do anything.

My heating system is a Gloworm boiler in the kitchen with a programmer underneath and the immersion tank in the airing cuboard.

Hope some one is able to help.

Thankyou

Yes that sounds exactly right, red goes to Common and Yellow to the Normally Open terminal.

Just make sure the mains power to the boiler is switched off first as the red lead carries 230V.

Many thanks for your quick reply, all wired and working ok. :)
