Hi
I'm wanting to replace a Sunvic TLX7501 Room Thermostat with a Heatmiser DS1.
Current wiring is Yellow into No. 2 and Red into No. 3 on the Sunvic.
Also available but not being used, one Blue and one Green earth wire.
Heatmiser wiring diagram is showing Wiring for four wires but some suggestions on line that I can get away with three.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks.

You will need to connect the blue to neutral at the other end of the cable and the connect as per the diagram.

Thanks EFLImpudence.
Any chance you could dumb this down a bit ? I need something like :
Red into L
Yellow into A2
... that kind of thing.
Also, connecting blue to neutral at "the other end of the cable" .... would this other end of the cable be inside the combi-boiler ?

Red into L and A1- link between.
Yellow into A2
Blue to N

May be, unless you have a wiring box.

I should have said you should make sure the red wire is 240V otherwise the thermostat won't work.

In which case you will need another wire.

Thanks a lot and apologies for the delayed response, got distracted yesterday.

I'm going to give this a shot today, will let you know how I get on :)

Thanks EFLI, sorry I didn't get back to you, had some major problems at home. Tried what you said but thermostat didn't work so I sent it back. I'll need to look for a different one.
