Just got this leaflet in the post for scaleguard
scaleguard.co.uk

Does anyone have any experience on whether this product is any good?

Also saw the below, looks like the same product but cheaper?

rubbish, it never ceases to amaze me how many products are available to buy to reduce/stop/prevent scale, when actually none of them make a jot of difference. Its water softener or nothing. Or if its just drinking water your concerned about get an RO unit.

No, no one does, anywhere, ever.

This is because:
1. they do not work
2. there is no reason why they should do anything to the water at all
3. even the makers of such things cannot explain how they work
