A simple question really how much room height would we loose with wet underfloor heating also is it more or less expensive to install that new rads and pipework

150mm - 75mm insulation + 75mm screed.

if retrofitting, wet ufh is definitely more expensive and disruptive.

if you havent screeded your floor yet then it is slightly more expensive but well worth it.
 
An Overlay system can be as little as 45mm on top of your existing finished floor.
