Hi all,

First post and DIY novice, so please go gently! We are installing a system boiler and unvented cylinder as part of renovation works. Builder has rec'd a WB 30Cdi, but after looking through these forums, we've seen they're not overly popular and good reviews of the Vaillant and EcoTEC. Anyone offer a good opinion on which to go for? Advice appreciated..

As an installer I would go for the Atag, then the Vaillant, then the WB. But only if you are using the full gamut of controls on offer to you.

Thanks Dan - when you say the full gamut, which of Atag's controls would you recommend?

Also, do you have a view on which cylinder would go best with it? (looking at 250L indirect unvented).. thanks!

Not so concerned with Atags controls, although they do a diverter valve and cylinder sensor, couple that with a weather sensor too.

Vaillant and Worcester also do these, but are probably simpler to implement.

Cylinder wise - I tend to use OSO or Stelflow depending on budget.
