Lean to conservatory has a roof 3 foot by 5 foot with felt.

The felt is damaged so I reckon needs to be replaced.

I cut through part of the felt in the corner as I thought it necessary to remove the roof to replace glazing units.

The roof was painted with a grey fibre glass type paint.
A sheet of MDF was placed on the roof and then I was working on the conservatory whilst on top of the board.
When I lifted the board, it stuck to the roof in two places and pulled small pieces of felt away with the board.

I intend to remove the old felt or to replace the board it is fixed to, which ever is easier.
Might be easier to replace the ply roof whole rather than to strip the felt from it?

Pictures describe it better than I can.
The edge of the roof is 2 inches deep and so need advice on the best way to fix the EDPM or other material to it.

Hi Jack

We install rubber and fibreglass flat roofing systems. EPDM will be the most cost effective way to repair this for sure. But fibreglass will last longer.
You will have to replace the board if you are renewing the roof. The EPDM adhesive will not adhere to the bitumen residues left on the old boards. Likewise with the fibreglass resin/matt

Hope this helps.
