Felt Roof shingles

Im thinking about putting roof shingles on my conservatory roof replacing the plastic sheeting, I will be plying it first, then putting down a layer of felt then the shingles, but I'm not sure how to Finnish of the edges!!
I've looked on you tube and the videos giving advice are all American and recommend using metel drip edges but I can't find any in the uk.
Can anyone recommend an alternative or just any info about this at all.

Thanks for that guys, I don't know why none of them came up in previous google searches? very helpful, even though the link that xenon suggested didn't work?? I think the website is down.
