I have a lean to roof that runs away from the house at a pitch of circa 30 degrees.

I have installed 100mm Kingspan between the rafters using a friction fit. I need to install 35mm Kingspan under the rafters, an 'under drawer'. I intend to fully tape every single joint on this under drawer to ensure a Vapour control Layer.

Would anyone recommend taping up the gaps in between rafter insulation if i am fulling taping the under drawer insulation? There are minimal gaps with the between rafter insulation.

Thanks

We tape both layers. Belt 'n' braces and all that.

Very sticky stuff that foil tape, no good if you have boxing glove hands!

Yes tape it to make sure it does not move when the different seasons come ie. expansion and contraction.
