Installation costs for fire inset or wood burner stove

Hello all,

Do you know roughly how much it will cost for a fire insert or wood burner stove to be installed ?

We have an existing working fireplace but are looking to have a more efficient wood burner.

Job would include to Chimney lining & flue for installation of fire inset/stove.

We are based in Berkshire.

You can do it yourself, but go through bco and pay there fees, but I would advise you to get a Hetas registered installer, he will advise what you need, fit every thing and issue a compliance certificate.
Get 2 or 3 prices.

we had Quotes from £500-£1000 for installation only , did it ourselves in the end and got everything off line, and then contacted the local building reg,office to do final check, £100
