Not come across this before, got a little leak in my porch due to a tiny split in the roofing felt, removed most of the tiles expecting to see broken channel under the Marley ludlow tiles but they are all still in very good condition. Now I'm guessing there were loads of moss in the channels and I'm thinking could the moss causes the capillary action forcing the water up onto the felt?

I imagine it could work like a ramp and allow the water to flow over.

Thanks lads, it's not leaking now so must've been the moss! Will have to clean the rest of moss up somehow, it's a bungalow so I have got a telescopic rod and put a thin blade on it somehow! This is the first time over 31 yrs on these tiles so not too bad, I noticed it's a lot worse since we're having more rain.
