What is the name of a flat roof with a pitch at perimeter?

What is the name of a flat roof which has a pitch (usually tiled) around 1 metre from the perimeter? Often used on extensions and above garages. I have always called it a part-pitch, but this surely isn't the correct terminology.

This is a Mansard roof where the sides are set at a steeper angle than the top.

I mean a roof where the sides are angled and the top is flat.

OK a mansard flat roof then. Yes the term mansard originated by its French inventor as a dual pitched roof as per your post but nowadays its a term used to describe any pitched roof with a flat roof behind it or at its ridge as well as a dual pitched roof which is also like a gambrel roof or dutch barn.

Sunken Mansard

We are having one built as part of our kitchen extension. The flat roof section will have a 1m x1m walk on glass section to let light into the inner part of the house, and decking to bring the floor level to make use of the flat roof as a balcony.
