Er, well just that, really. I have a bunch of 'hand made' clay tiles, unglazed, which are around 20mm thick. I'm guessing my contractor's 'score and press' tile cutter might not do the job and that I may need an angle grinder. Anyone any experience with cutting these?

Also, should I use regular tile adhesive with them? They almost have more in common with paving slabs than traditional tiles.

I've not cut tiles that thick, but have used something like this for slate:

It's that or an angle grinder with a stone-cutting disc.

Are they for a wall, or a floor? Assuming the latter, a cement-based floor tile adhesive.

Cheers
Richard
