Wheel Blades

Been given a small powered water fed tile cutter but it needs a new wheel

First time i've had to purchase one so not sure which to go for see the link http://www.plasplugs.com/acatalog/Diamond_Wheel_Tile_Cutter_Blades.html
the standard diamond for all jobs or the porcelein diamond (80mm)?

Any thoughts?

From your title I thought it might be blades for your chariot wheels, quite hard to get in post Roman times

Unless you are cutting porcelain tiles buy the standard replacement blade from the original maker.

Normal tiles are ceramic with a coloured glazed finish, porcelain are the same throughout and hard as nails a normal masonry drill will not even start to go through them

So unless you plan to use porcelain the normal cutter will be fine.

I wouldn't mine owning a chariot! i'm not clearing up after the horse though.

Ok that does make sense, I just didn't want any chips and if the porcelain was of a finer grade it might make a difference.
