Super Glue for plastic

Does anyone have any experience with the special super glue for plastic stuff. I bought some a while back that came with an activator pen and tube of glue, unfortunately I can't remember if its any good or not, I only remember that compared to normal super glue (the stuff that performs best, doing its original intended job, i.e sticking skin together) it's quite pricey.

That's probably not gonna work in this situation, as this particular problem will involve relatively high lateral forces, whereas that will probably offer good shear force performance. I really think the only solution, is to drill it, tap and die it and screw a replacement in. Thanks anyway.

All depends on the type of plastic.
Some plastics are virtually impossible to bond, other than by hot welding.
