Hi there,

We have an extension with a tiled roof which has an extensive area of lead work around the original house window.
We have a drip from the fascia at the front. The water is running under the tiles somehow and dripping from the inside edge onto the patio below.
Our builder has sent numerous workmen out who have done various things to the lead work and velux windows. The drip is still there.

He has now said that he has found a small hole in the felt which is the problem. We think that the water should not be hitting the felt in the first place. Surely it should be running from the lead - onto the tiles - onto the gutter?
Please advise me - are we being palmed off?
Thanks

Even if it is running under the tiles, which it shouldn,t be then it should still run into the gutter, as has been said what is the pitch of the roof and what tiles have been fitted.
this should not be happening under any circumstances.
