Slag or MOT

Hi
Could someone tell me what the difference is between slag and MOT. I'm putting in a gravel drive 20mm stones on top and wanted to check, as slag is cheaper. Thanks

one is a waste by-product from mining the other is a useful graded stone material ideal for use as hardcore.

slag is cheaper cause they have already been paid to take it away and want you to pay them again to bring it round to your place?
