Now that my 14 month garden project is finished, I want to grow some produce in it. The area to grow isn't that big, maybe 4 or 5 square metres in area in different sizes.

I would like to start growing the odd bit of veg and herbs maybe with my little 'un.

Any pointers as to what we can put down this time of year? Apologies if it is glaringly obvious but I've never been down this route before!

most stuff youre going to be putting in now wont be harvesting till spring or summer, although if you go for plants you can get a head start. heres a few:-

cabbage
cauliflower
broccoli (purple sprouting)
onion setts
some types of beans

if you have a cloche or greenhouse then you may be able to do some winter lettuce or spinach

Penguin biscuits?

Last year a mate of mine dug up a few in his allotment, buried just beneath the surface, Still intact in the wrappers!!!!
