I recently reoiled my deck. I waited for a perfectly clear warm day and oiled it with a completely blue sky.

Of course 10 minutes later a single black cloud quickly moved in and it lashed rain for a couple of minutes. After that the blue sky and sun returned and the deck dried.

Unfortunately during the few minutes of rain, some of the Ronseal oil splashed up onto the patio doors.

I tried scrubbing them with window cleaner but the oil splashmarks still remain.

Any idea on what would work best to clean them completely?

Cheers

white spirit if you had done it straight away

but I expect it has hardened into a gummy varnish by now.

you can try white spirit which should soften it
