hi

quick question, I am building a glass block wall in my bathroom, it will act as a shower screen.

it will be 4 blocks across and 8 blocks high (190 x 190mm blocks)

i have built a shelf and tiled it to the same level as the bath rim, so the glass blocks sit on top of that.

but i am worried about strength and it collapsing, how do strengthen the wall?

i saw those metal rods you secure and run, quite expensive though...

Get a roll of expanded metal (£6-£10), and lay this in every other or every third bed joint
