Wall Plate Fastening

Hi

What is the best way to fasten the wall plate on to the top of the concrete blocks. Would frame fixings be okay or is there a better more suitable alternative.

You need to strap it with some say, 1m long vertical straps.

If you just screw it down then it may rotate or slide and take the top course with it.

And it is normally bedded in mortar too
